Patty Gordon, CRNP, Geriatric and Palliative Medicine
Patricia Gordon is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh. She received her undergraduate nursing degree at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s Degree in Nursing Management from La Roche University and her post Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Duquesne University in 2008. Her career spans Cardiology, Oncology and most recently Palliative Care. In her most recent position, she worked providing care for palliative care patients in their home. She is also certified as a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (ACHPN). She has lectured locally and nationally, and has published journal articles as well as book chapters. Her passion of geriatrics and palliative care came from caring for her parents.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her church, reading, and cooking/baking. She is also a recent graduate from Penn State Extension as a Master Gardener. She has 5 furry children: 3 Siamese cats and 2 long haired dachshunds with her roommate.
