Lea Anne Ochs, CRNP

Lea Anne Ochs, CRNP is a life-long resident of Western Pennsylvania, currently residing in Economy Borough. She is a Nurse Practitioner, board certified in Family Health.

Lea Anne graduated nursing school in 1993 and began her nursing career in geriatrics and long-term care. She continued her nursing career at Sewickley Valley Hospital in the Emergency Room. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she practiced in Internal Medicine with a focus on Geriatrics, Skilled and Long-term Care, as well as Heritage Valley Convenient Care.

She is a 2012 graduate of Carlow University where she earned both her BSN and MSN. She is a faculty member for Carlow University, teaching Geriatrics in the MSN-FNP program, as well as clinical faculty. She teaches Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Start the Heart in Wexford. She is currently working on a research project involving medication reduction in the elderly with the goal of publication.

She lives at home with her husband, Tom, to whom she has been married for 23 years. Together they have 2 children, both instrumentalists very involved in classical music. They enjoy their 5 pets, 4 of them rescued. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
