Lauren Breisinger, CRNP
Lauren Breisinger, CRNP is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, PA. She attended Duquesne University where she earned her BSN. She then continued her education and obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and Adult-Geriatric NP degree from Robert Morris University. Post-graduation she published an article in the Critical Care Nursing Quarterly focusing on stress reduction in post-cardiac surgery family members.
Prior to joining PCMA, Lauren worked for five years as a nurse in the Cardiothoracic ICU at UPMC Shadyside. She also completed a travel nursing assignment, working in both the medical and surgical ICU’s. Following the completion of her NP degree, Lauren worked as a provider in a cardiac surgery office caring for patients with complex aortic and valvular disease. Lauren eventually transitioned into her true passion, geriatric care and has since been working in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
Lauren and her husband Chris reside in the south hills of Pittsburgh and in their free time enjoy traveling, good food, the outdoors and spending time with family, friends, and their two dogs, Raisin and Lily. Lauren is excited to be a part of PCMA and the exceptional care they provide to their patients.
