Janet Piggott, CRNP, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Janet Piggott is a resident of Beaver County. She’s an acute care nurse practitioner. Janet graduated from Kent State Universities RN program with an Associate Degree in 1983. Janet graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1997 from Carlow University. She earned her Master of Science in nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 with cardiopulmonary emphasis.
Janet joined Heritage Valley Health System in 1984. She has worked in the Emergency Department, the intensive care unit, and as a Hemodialysis nurse. Janet also worked in case management and as a home care nurse. Additionally, she is a certified critical care registered nurse, as well as a certified emergency nurse.
March 2007 Janet was presented with a black belt in Six Sigma for process improvement for the length of stay at The Medical Center in Beaver
Prior to joining PCMA, she worked for Dr. Singh with emphasis being primary care and cardiology. She joined the Heritage Valley Heart and Vascular Center in 2009 with emphasis in cardiology. Janet also works casual for the Heritage Valley owned convenient Care Clinics.
Janet’s leisure time is spent traveling and enjoying her children and grandchildren.
Janet is honored to be a part of PCMA and the exceptional care they provide to long term care and skilled residents. She looks forward and is excited to work with the geriatric population.
