Gerald "Jay" Hartle, DNP, CRNP, Geriatric and Palliative Medicine
Gerald “Jay” Hartle was born and raised in western Pennsylvania and has worked in the medical field for over 45 years. He has served in multiple clinical and management positions including medical-surgical, critical care, pulmonary, and emergency departments.
During the 1970s, Jay was active in pre-hospital emergency medical services (EMS). He is a graduate of Beaver County’s first paramedic class and was a cofounder of the region’s largest ambulance service. He was awarded an RN degree from Community College of Beaver County (1980s), a BSN from Carlow College (1995), an MSN CRNP from LaRoche University (1999), and a DNP from Robert Morris University (2013).
Since the 1980s, Jay has worked in various clinical and private practice settings before joining Personal Care Medical Associates. He also served ten years in the U.S. Army Reserves assigned to a medical support hospital. Jay is also active in geriatric, hospice, and palliative care research.
